Rapid Viewing Angle Analyzer Conometer 160MS
Fstar has launched the Rapid Viewing Angle Tester Conometer 160MS. Featuring a conoscopic lens design, it can complete luminance and chrominance measurements across a ±80° viewing angle within 35 seconds. High-efficiency and high-precision, this instrument is suitable for laboratory research and quality inspection scenarios.

Viewing angle performance evaluation is an important optical testing item. To meet the demand for rapid viewing angle analysis of products, Fstar has launched the Rapid Viewing Angle Tester: Conometer 160MS. It eliminates cumbersome measurement procedures and the requirement for large space, and is applicable to various scenarios such as laboratories and quality inspection.


Fstar has applied for a design patent for the conoscopic lens. The angular distribution of luminance and chrominance of the display screen under test within a ±80° viewing angle can be accurately obtained through a single imaging measurement.


Typically, it only takes about 35 seconds to complete the full viewing angle test of display screens with a luminance of over 100 cd/m², and generate test reports at an interval of 1° or 0.1°. Compared with the method of acquiring viewing angle data by rotating the spectrometer or the display screen, the adoption of the conoscopic lens greatly improves the test efficiency and shortens the test time.

    Adopting advanced optical lens design, it reduces the polarization of direct light and derivative light. It follows strict processing procedures and quality control standards, and has passed a series of calibration procedures.
