Viewing angle performance evaluation is a crucial optical project. To meet the demand for rapid viewing angle analysis of products, Fstar has launched the Rapid Viewing Angle Tester: Conometer160. It eliminates cumbersome measurement procedures and large space requirements, making it applicable to various scenarios such as laboratories and quality inspection.
Fstar has filed a design patent for the conoscopic lens. With a single imaging measurement, it can accurately obtain the angular distribution of luminance and chrominance of the display screen under test within the ±80° viewing angles.
Typically, it only takes approximately 20 seconds to complete full-range viewing angle testing for displays with a luminance of over 100 cd/m², generating reports at intervals of 1° or 0.1°. Compared with methods that obtain viewing angle data by rotating spectrometers or adjusting display angles, the use of conoscopic lenses significantly improves testing efficiency and shortens testing time.
• High Speed
The incident angles and azimuth angles of the full visual cone are all high-resolution, and luminance and chrominance can be measured within 20 seconds.
• High Precision
Each instrument follows strict manufacturing and calibration procedures. Every CCD sensor is calibrated to ensure testing accuracy.
• High Efficiency
Through rational distribution of focal power among lenses, it solves the problem of linear illuminance distribution under large fields of view and high frame sizes, improving light collection efficiency at large angles.
• High Reliability
Adopting advanced optical lens design, it reduces polarization of direct light and derived light. It adheres to strict processing procedures, quality control, and undergoes a series of calibration procedures.
